What Is Informed Sport Certification?
Informed Sport is a globally recognized independent testing and certification program designed to help athletes make more informed decisions about the supplements they use.
In competitive sport, even trace amounts of prohibited substances can have serious consequences. Athletes are responsible for what enters their bodies, which makes supplement quality and transparency especially important.
The Informed Sport program addresses this risk through a rigorous certification process that includes:
- Every-batch testing: Each batch of a certified product is independently tested for more than 285 substances prohibited in sport or associated with contamination risks before being released for sale.
- Manufacturing quality reviews: Production facilities and quality management processes are evaluated to help minimize contamination risks.
