The Ballstad story

As you journey beyond the Arctic Circle in the north of Norway, you'll come across a small fishing village named Ballstad, situated at the 68th parallel north and the 13th meridian east. Here, at the meeting point of the cold waters of the North Atlantic Ocean and steep, rugged mountains, you might feel like you've reached the edge of the world.

Our founder, Odd Roar Olsen, grew up in Ballstad, where he was used to the exceptional quality of fish products that Ballstad has to offer.

When he started traveling and living abroad, Odd Roar Olsen noticed that finding this level of quality was challenging. It was then that he set the goal of bringing Ballstad's excellence, offering Norway's finest and freshest omega-3 and collagen, to the world as a reliable and trusted brand.
